These are the portraits of asylum seekers on hunger strike in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin on November 2013. Travelled all the way from Bavaria where the same camp was cleared in Munich by the authority, their aim is for asylum seekers in Germany to have a better living condition and to be allowed to work and travel. They also requested for their asylum applications accepted. Living in fear of abuse and deportation, majority of them have been fighting for legal status in Germany for years.
